Ban the Bottle is a project that aims to educate others on the detrimental effects of the plastic industry on the environment. Plastics aren’t biodegradable, which harms marine life. Over 100,000 marine animals each year die from plastic consumption that have been identified and 90% of birds have ingested plastic. Marine life eating plastic will eventually work up the food chain, causing humans to ingest the same plastic we’ve thrown away. What we do with our plastic matters.
